PENGARUH PEMBERIAN PUPUK NPK DAN PUPUK ORGANIK PADAT (POP) TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN HASIL JAGUNG (Zea Mays L.)

Jagung merupakan salah satu komoditas tanaman pangan yang penting di Indonesia. Upaya dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan hasil komoditi tersebut dengan melakukan teknik budidaya sesuai diantaranya adalah pemupukan. Tujuan penelitian mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan pupuk NPK phonska dan organik padat (POP) Sahara dosis berbeda terhadap pertumbuhan jagung. Penelitian dilaksanakan Desa Garang Tiga, Kecamatan Simbang, Kabupaten Maros, pada bulan Nopember 2018 s/d Februari 2019. Percobaan lapang disusun dalam Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK=Randomize Complete Block Design) 7 jenis perlakuan diulang sebanyak empat kali. Perlakuan dicoba kombinasi antara beberapa taraf majemuk Phonska Sahara. Hasil menunjukkan jagung pipilan tertinggi diperoleh pemberian 300 kg ha-1 + 3000 POP ha-1, yaitu 6,65 t keuntungan tertinggi, Rp 12.598.750, nilai R/C ratio 2,10.
